The world is watching as Super Typhoon Ragasa continues its devastating path across East Asia. After leaving behind destruction and Ragasa Taiwan deaths, the storm has now struck Hong Kong and made Ragasa China landfall, triggering widespread chaos, evacuations, and damage.

Typhoon Ragasa News: From Taiwan to China

The latest Typhoon Ragasa news reveals a grim picture. Taiwan was the first to suffer, with at least 14 people killed and dozens injured as floods and landslides swept through towns. Rivers overflowed, and a barrier lake burst, worsening the disaster. Thousands were displaced, marking one of the most tragic southern China disaster and Taiwan storm events in recent memory.

Ragasa Hong Kong: City Paralyzed by Storm

As the system moved north, it turned into a massive Hong Kong storm, bringing torrential rains and winds topping 190 km/h. Skyscrapers swayed, glass shattered, and coastal roads flooded. Public transport was suspended, schools shut down, and dozens were hospitalized due to flying debris and water surges.

Local officials confirmed this is one of the strongest storms the city has faced in decades, with significant Ragasa impact across the region.

Ragasa China Landfall: Massive Evacuations

The eye of the storm then made Ragasa China landfall in Guangdong province, forcing nearly two million people into shelters. Authorities launched a large-scale Ragasa evacuation to protect residents from landslides, flooding, and collapsing infrastructure.

Cities including Zhuhai, Yangjiang, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou faced severe flooding, power cuts, and factory shutdowns. Farmers also reported crop destruction, raising concerns over food supply in affected regions.

Ragasa Damage Report: The Aftermath

Early Ragasa damage reports show collapsed homes, submerged highways, downed power lines, and widespread economic losses. Airports were shut down, hundreds of flights canceled, and shipping ports suspended operations. Experts warn that the full extent of losses will only be clear after floodwaters recede.

The combined destruction in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China makes Super Typhoon Ragasa one of the costliest storms of 2025 so far.

Global Response and Recovery

Relief teams, military forces, and emergency medical units are working around the clock to rescue stranded residents and deliver aid. International agencies have offered support, emphasizing that the storm highlights the growing risks of climate change and extreme weather events in Asia.
